The first session in a series of four free breakfast events over the Autum of 2010 will showcase some of the business expertise within the University of Nottingham.

A new format has been designed to provide added value over and above the general information and business networking opportunities, attendees will now have the opportunity to put their own specific business issues to leading academics and take away some practical advice from the surgery session that they can implement immediately.

New business ideas - Dr. Lee Martin and Dr. Andrew Greenman

Innovation is at the heart of successful businesses but do you really have to wait for a 'eureka moment' to come up with new ideas? This presentation will introduce to a tried and tested technique for identifying problems that need solving and generating commercially viable innovative business ideas to solve them.

A valuable technique of generating new ideas with that can be transferred to many situations.
